My Favourite Anime

Anime has been a part of my life since I was 12. Every year, I always seem to find an amazing anime with an addictive plot and fascinating characters that I easily get strongly attached to.

Here is a list of Anime I think you should watch.

Ao No Exorcist/Blue Exorcist

This world consists of two dimensions joined as one, like a mirror. The first is the world in which the humans live, Assiah. The other is the world of demons, Gehenna. Ordinarily, travel between the two, and indeed any kind of contact between the two, is impossible. However the demons can pass over into this world by possessing anything that exist within it. Satan the god of demons, but there’s one thing that he doesn’t have, and that’s a substance in the human world that is powerful enough to contain him!! For that purpose he created Rin, his son from a human woman, but will his son agree to his plans? Or will he become something else…? An exorcist?

The anime isn’t too long and is great for those who want action and fantasy. The plot is really interesting to watch and it will make you feel powerful aswell. Not only that but, the characters are unique and easy to get attached to.

Shigatsu wa Kimi no Uso/Your Lie in April

Music accompanies the path of the human metronome, the prodigious pianist Kousei Arima. But after the passing of his mother, Saki Arima, Kousei falls into a downward spiral, rendering him unable to hear the sound of his own piano.

Two years later, Kousei still avoids the piano, leaving behind his admirers and rivals, and lives a colorless life alongside his friends Tsubaki Sawabe and Ryouta Watari. However, everything changes when he meets a beautiful violinist, Kaori Miyazono, who stirs up his world and sets him on a journey to face music again.

Based on the manga series of the same name, Shigatsu wa Kimi no Uso approaches the story of Kousei’s recovery as he discovers that music is more than playing each note perfectly, and a single melody can bring in the fresh spring air of April.

The music in this anime is just as compelling as the plot. If you love emotional romance then I highly recommend you watch this.

Guilty Crown

The story takes place in Tokyo in 2039, after the outbreak of the “Apocalypse Virus” during what became known as the “Lost Christmas” of 2029. Since then, Japan has been under the control of the multinational organization called GHQ.

Ouma Shu is a 17 year-old boy who mistakenly obtains a rare and great power. He can use this power, “The Right Hand of the King,” to extract “voids,” or tools/weapons that are the manifestations of people’s’ hearts.

He has been rather shy since a childhood tragedy, but both his personality and life change forever when he meets a girl named Yuzuriha Inori, a member of the rebel group called “Undertakers,” whose members seek the restoration of self-government in Japan via the ousting of GHQ.

The animation in this show is stunning, especially in the first couple of episodes. I love the way the movements of the characters flow since there aren’t any bits which look rushed or overdone. Moreover, the characters in the show are fun and original. Each character holds a surprise.

I hope you enjoyed taking the time to read my post.
