So today is the day where we sit round the table with our loved ones, eating the biggest turkey on the shelf.

Christmas is one of my favourite holidays of the year as it is a day filled with happiness and joy.
However, it isn’t all fun and games for everyone.
When you’re opening your new games console or trying on that new jumper your grandma hand knitted for you, I would like you to remember all of the people in the world that might not be having the same happy Christmas as you are.

Everyone is still in mourning from the terrorist attacks that have happened in Paris. The relatives/friends of those victims are probably looking at an empty seat where a member of their family used to be. They will think of all the times when they would laugh and have fun, but now there is a hole. A hole which used to be filled with the happiness of their loved one.
I do hope you take a moment of silence to appreciate how lucky you are to have all of your best friends and relatives with you on this special occasion. As I bet some of those people would love to be in your shoes right now.
Other than that, I hope everyone has a very merry Christmas and a happy New Year. I can’t wait to see what happens in 2016.
